Congrats to Robin and Ryan!
Robin and Ryan held a private ceremony at the Mint Museum in Charlotte and later held their reception there as well. We decided to do an uptown walkabout for images, which is always a good time. Their reception featured amazing food including fried green tomatoes and sweet potato souffle (more weddings needs this!). The dancing went on late into the evening and the couple exited to the sounds of personalized cowbells for the guests, which was very fun and original.
Here are some of my personal favorites…
I also wanted to make mention of the wedding cake by Haines of For Goodness Cakes. I had not worked with her before. I have had my fair share of wedding cake and then some, and her cake was easily in the top two I have ever had. One layer featured fresh blueberries and was incredible.
I also wanted to share one of Robin’s Bridals from the Kilburnie Inn in Lancaster, a great place for photography. Robin chose to have this on display at her reception.

Love the colorful walkway photo and her dresses are gorgeous. Your description of the cake made me hungry. That last shot of her in the library-looking room is gorgeous!
