Carolina Bride Cover

Big congrats to Veronica for being the newest Carolina Bride cover girl.

I shot this cover image in March at her bridal session. The location was the Winghaven Gardens in Charlotte. It was freezing cold but we managed to pull it off!

Congrats to Veronica and Chip!

Veronica and Chip were married in Charlotte at Christ Lutheran Church and held their reception at the Mint Museum in uptown Charlotte. They had an amazing day that included the love and support of some very fun people.

Ashley Cash of The Graceful Host provided the event planning and design. Flowers by Melanie Edwards of New Creations Flower Company. My main man Levar from Split Second Sound was the DJ (great as always). Makeup by Be Pretty’s Lindsey Regan Thorne.

What a great time! Here are just a few of my favorite photos from the day.

Just a quick note to future brides: If you are getting married at the Mint Museum, make sure you have a photographer that is experienced using off camera flash! It is a big place and this is mandatory for shooting there at night.

Also, these glasses are way cool for receptions!

Congrats to Erin and Ben!

Erin and Ben were married at the Duke Mansion in Charlotte, NC and held their reception there as well. This is a great venue if you are a traditional bride and want a timeless backdrop for your wedding. The couple was blessed with perfect wedding weather and took advantage by having their first dance outdoors. The wedding was planned by the always amazing Heather Bryson of Carolina Wedding Design. Entertainment was provided by Vinny from Split Second Sound.

Beautiful Baby Girl

Some of you are aware that Amber and I had a baby girl in June! Now that things are settling down and I am once again updating the ole blog, I thought I would share a picture I snapped of her. 🙂

Congrats to Henley and Doug!

Henley and Dough were married and held their reception at The Ranson House in Huntersville, NC. Its always a treat to shoot this venue, being so close to my home. Henley and Doug have an amazing group of friends and family that danced the night away. Entertainment was provided by Vinny of Split Second Sound, always highly recommended.
