Allison and Aaron were married at the Ballantyne Country Club and held their reception there as well. Their traditional jewish ceremony was conducted indoors, a challenging task for any photographer. If at all possible I typically avoid the use of any flash during a ceremony. It tends to take away form the ambiance of the moment as well as become a major distraction from such an important moment.
Here are just a few of my favorites of the day….

Amy and Ryan were married in Augusta, GA at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church and held their reception at The Lodge on Heath. This was the second wedding I have photographed for Ryan’s family. Amy and Ryan have a rowdy group of friends, making the after party last early into the morning.

Chrissy and Justin are to be married on 1/1/11. They are the first couple in my photography history to want to feature coffee in their engagement session, and I respect the hell out of that. It is the nectar of the gods after all. Here are a few shots from our walkabout around my studio in NoDa….

You may remember Katy and Mike from the wet n wild engagement session from earlier in the year. They were married at the Amity Presbyterian Church in Charlotte and held their reception at the Mint Museum. Though daylight was limited, we did find time during the reception for some fun shots (example below).
Makeup was provided by Kymm who always can be relied upon to do a fantastic job. Cake Lady Jill did the amazing cake shown below.
All in all a great day and fun wedding to shoot!
